Project One Light rises from Yunnan as a quiet vow of renewal. Founded in 2021 by Olina Cai, a daughter of the region shaped by years within coffee and tea, the project stands where tradition meets intent. In these highlands, coffee is no longer treated as chance crop but as living potential, guided by patience, knowledge and belief in what Yunnan can become.
At its core, Project One Light is a collective bound by principle. Q graders and processing specialists work in close accord, guarding both quality and conscience. Every cherry is traced, every method upheld with discipline, every outcome measured with care. Their labour is shared, their progress deliberate. The mission is unbroken and ongoing, to refine Yunnan coffee with consistency and purpose, and to carry its story outward, ensuring those who have tended this land for generations are neither forgotten nor left behind.
