This Double Extended Natural Fermentation lot was inspired by the thick religious Muslim beliefs in which no alcohol is to be consumed or sold in the land of Aceh. While Felicia lot 1 & lot 2 portrays the similarities in 'alcohol' characteristics: depth of fermentation sweetness, ripe juicy fruits and plum jam sweetness with ruby grapefruit aromatics.
Villa Hill of Telege, Takengon Central Aceh, North Sumatra Aceh Takengon of Indonesia has been a popular land rich in its volcanic soil and famous on its high elevations. Elevations ranging from 1450 - 1800 MASL based on the Upper North of Sumatra, a cool climate and plenty of water resources which is idea for its regions coffee growth.
Most coffee grown in the Aceh Region is grown in two major districts, the Takengon district (subdivided into Central and North) & Bener Meriah District. Only coffees that is grown within the Takegon District can be labelled 'Gayo' under product law labelling classification in Indonesia.
'Felicia' is inspired by the word “happiness”, describing the first time the producer tasted his experimental process lots, which was the production of current Felicia Lot 1 & Lot 2. Telege, was the area of which Bpk Man and team found his beans varieties for processing these lots.
