Endebess Estate, situated in the northern reaches of Kenya’s Rift Valley near the market town of Kitale in Trans Nzoiya County, occupies approximately 758 hectares of land, with 248 hectares dedicated to coffee cultivation. The coffee produced at Endebess Estate undergoes a meticulous natural processing method, where it is fully washed using pristine water from the Koitobos River and subsequently sun-dried on elevated beds. The drying process spans 21 to 28 days, contingent upon prevailing weather conditions, with the beans meticulously rotated a minimum of four times daily.

The Rift Valley, encompassing the Cherang’any Hills and a string of active volcanoes, serves as the backdrop. These hills form one of Kenya's crucial forested areas and water catchments, extending across Trans Nzoia, Elgeyo Marakwet, and West Pokot counties. Endebess Estate lies nestled at the base of Mount Elgon, an extinct shield volcano straddling the border between Uganda and Kenya.

Historically, since the 1940s, Endebess Estate has conducted its own coffee milling and processing operations, serving not only itself but also nearby small-scale producers. Formerly under the ownership and management of Mr. E.W. D’Ollier, it passed to Gatatha Farmers Co Ltd. in 1976, and subsequently changed hands again in 2011 to its current proprietor and overseer, Kaitet Tea Plantations.
