Diamanté is located in the highlands of Huila, Colombia, a region known for its rich volcanic soils and ideal growing conditions. The farm sits at high elevation, where cool temperatures and stable microclimates allow for slow and even maturation of coffee cherries. This results in greater complexity and clarity in the cup.
Under the care of Diego Campos and his wife Derlin Roa, the farm focuses on producing high quality coffee with both established and rare varieties. Alongside Derlin’s parents, Elias Roa and Bellani Sanchez, they manage the land with a balance of experience and innovation.
Diamante grows traditional varieties such as Colombia and Castillo, while also nurturing rarer cultivars including Pink Bourbon, Wush Wush and SL28. Pink Bourbon has become a particular focus for its clean floral notes and vibrant fruit character. Its cultivation requires careful attention and precise handling, reflecting the farm’s commitment to producing distinctive and exceptional coffees.
Through this work, Diego and Derlin continue to build on the knowledge of past generations while exploring new possibilities, ensuring each harvest carries the unique character of their land.
